The Library subscribes to databases that contain articles and reseach materials that are not available on the open Internet. All
databases may be accessed from inside the Library. Most databases may be accessed from home using your library card and PIN; please see notes for each database.

Gale Virtual Reference Library (Remote access requires MARINet library card & PIN.)
Searchable access to Grzimek's Animal Life Encyclopedia, West's Encyclopedia of American Law, Dictionary of American History, Gale Encyclopedia of Science, and Arts and Humanities Through the Eras. Click on "Show All" to see available titles.

A one-stop resource for all science-related research needs. SRC's focus is on topics and concepts taught in school classrooms.

World Book Encyclopedia Online Reference Center (Remote access requires MARINet library card & PIN.)
Online access to all articles from the print version plus additional articles updated monthly, an online dictionary, and a Spanish language encyclopedia, the Enciclopedia Estudiantil Hallazgos.
