Databases
The Library subscribes to databases that contain articles and reseach materials that are not available on the open Internet. All
databases may be accessed from inside the Library. Most databases may be accessed from home using your library card and PIN; please see notes for each database.

U.S. data on crime, sentencing, corrections, and law enforcement personnel, among other topics.

Bureau of Labor Statistics
Vast resource for current and historical numbers on the U.S. economy, including CPI, employment, earnings, and productivity.

California Economic Indicators
A bimonthly summary of economic trends and data relating to the State of California.

Census Bureau
Access to U.S. Census resources including American Factfinder, a powerful tool for retrieving local and regional demographic data.

CIA World Factbook
Economic, geographic, demographic, and government information on every country in the world. Also features a Reference Maps collection.

FedStats
Gateway to statistics from over 100 U.S. Federal agencies; browse for stats by topic, region, or agency.

National Center for Health Statistics
Data on health-related trends in the United States, including statistics on births, deaths, and women's health.

National Center for Education Statistics
Generate your own statistical tables or browse "Fast Facts" on the state of education in the United States.

Population Reference Bureau
Objective information on U.S. and international population trends and their implications.
