Databases
The Library subscribes to databases that contain articles and reseach materials that would not otherwise be available to local Internet users. All
databases may be accessed inside the Library; most may be accessed from home using your library card and PIN. Please see notes for each database.

EBSCO Magazines & Newspapers

An online reference database of general interest, business & health magazines and newspapers. Includes both full text and indexing as well as full text reference books.

The ProQuest database of over 500 National and International newspapers including the San Francisco Chronicle, the New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal.

Direct access to the full text of the latest editions of the New York Times. Use the search box to find columns by a specific author, e.g. "Thomas L. Friedman" or "Paul Krugman".

Wall Street Journal via InfoTrac OneFile
(Remote access requires MARINet library card & PIN)
Direct access to the full text of the latest editions of the Wall Street Journal. Browse an edition by clicking on the date you want to read. Use the "Sort by page number feature" (pull-down menu on right side of page) to browse beginning with page 1 of section A.

The Yahoo! directory of magazine Web sites, organized by subject.

Marin Independent Journal
Web site of Marin County's daily newspaper, with current stories and a limited archive of past articles.

The New York Times Online Edition
Current and recent news articles from The New York Times; registration required for new users. Some content accessible only to paying customers. Use the this Library link (library card and PIN required) to find this otherwise unavailable content.

Santa Rosa Press-Democrat
Santa Rosa daily, part of the New York Times Company chain of newspapers.

SF Gate
Online home of The San Francisco Chronicle newspaper.
